Developmental Objectives
In the near future, MUVI will continue to seek new project partners, while maintaining and expanding the successes of current hospital management projects. MUVI also plans to accomplish supportive intermediate-term strategic objectives:
The aforementioned strategic objectives are only a sampling of steps that MUVI is undertaking to not only meet the dynamic needs of project partners, but to improve provision of healthcare services and patient safety in healthcare settings all over the world.
- Building high quality essential service concepts for healthcare providers
Healthcare providers can optimize service delivery by adopting effective, efficient operations measures in the area of essential services. MUVI is creating tailored solutions that meet providers' productivity and cost-saving needs in difficult-to-manage areas such as central sterile supply and surgical platform management.
- Establishing the "MUVI Academy Program"
A well-trained healthcare workforce is not only a critical component in high quality patient care, but enhances an institution's competitiveness. The MUVI Academy Program will offer short- and long-term courses of study, specialty training, and healthcare management seminars customized for MUVI project partners. Post-graduate training options will also be available.

- Expanding telemedicine projects
All institutions should capitalize on health information technology advances to communicate best practices. To that effect, MUVI has successfully implemented a telemedicine service program in radiology, pathology, and cytogenetics with PCMC. MUVI plans to expand telemedicine services and explore other service options.
- Increasing collaborative research efforts with universities abroad
Research and development is an investment with not only scientific rewards, but significant macroeconomic impact. To that aim, MUVI will initiate new international research partnerships. For example, MUVI has collaborated with the Center for Geographic Medicine, a research center investigating diseases of worldwide significance, by providing funding and networking support.
- Sharing key human resources management strategies with project partners
Implementing appropriate staff governance, supervision, and evaluation systems is critical to successful healthcare provider operations. MUVI plans to introduce human resource management concepts to improve institutional efficiency and efficacy.
The aforementioned strategic objectives are only a sampling of steps that MUVI is undertaking to not only meet the dynamic needs of project partners, but to improve provision of healthcare services and patient safety in healthcare settings all over the world.
